2009 Year In Review
Every year, Open Arms International touches thousands of lives with medical care and the love of Jesus. Look at what your generous support made possible in Eldoret, Kenya in 2009:
- Treated more than 5,500 people in medical, dental, and eye clinics
- Served 1,500 children through children’s ministry
- Led more than 200 people to Christ
- Held Pastor's and Women's Conferences for 190 people
- Trained 140 health advocates
- Distributed 44,000 meals
- Employed 110 local Kenyans year-round through program staff and construction
- Completed construction on two children's homes and began construction on an additional three homes
- Brought 11 new children to live at the Open Arms Village
- Began a preschool at the Village
